Will be out of communication this weekend. Going to HMGS Fall In at the Wyndham Resort in Lancaster, Pa to binge play some miniatures. Signed up for some ACW scenarios on Friday and the Bolt Action tourney on Saturday. If you're going to be there and see a guy with a Marine Corps hat and a Tiller Con Shirt say hello.

I'd be very interested in updates on the scenarios, General Miller! Table top: The Mother Of Us All!

General Miller <salute>

Hope you have a great weekend at HMGS, enjoy it, Bolt Action is a great game IMHO.

Obviously being a miniatures fan as well as a computer one perhaps you should look out for the following participation game also. I believe he attends HMGS along with a host of other venues in that general area.

The game series is called Carnage & Glory II developed by a guy named Nigel Marsh, based in New England, I believe. It is a computer moderated miniatures rules system including campaign modules. His current titles span the ECW through to the FPW, with all the major conflicts in between. It is a slick system incorporating the best of both miniature gaming with the power of the PC to handle the drudgery. I have very old versions of the Nap, ACW & FPW systems and they are great fun even now. They have been seriously revised since my versions and doubtless are greatly enhanced also.

Worth a look if he's there. He and/or other members of the C&G system often run numerous participation games at these events and by all reports very well attended and supported.

Not much luck but I did have fun at Fall In 2022. Got to play some new scenarios and see some people I had played with at previous conventions. Had a bad day at wargaming in the tournament, as usual no luck with the dice and lost all three games this time, did get a gift certificate for having the worst record in the tourney.

Also played some board games with friends including Star Trek: Ascendancy where my luck finally changed and my Federation forces won the game and a game of Blood Red Skies where my Zeroes chased away a squadron of P40's although we did lose one plane.

Here are some pics from me and others I found from friends sites.

For anyone not familiar with how it works just click on a picture and use the forward/backward icons to scroll through the list.

Whatever about luck, it is important that you had fun, well done Sir.

The pics are brilliant, crisp and clear, and the quality of the terrain looks amazing. I was particularly taken with the 15mm Bulge Central Sector game, an absolute fav campaign of mine.

Did you see or have contact with anyone from the Carnage & Glory groups or were they even there ?
