ACWGC CSA CoA The term of the ACWGC CSA CoA position presently held by General David Mallory ends January 9, 2023. The timeline for electing a new ACWGC CSA CoA is as follows: Nominations: 12 Dec – 18 Dec 2022 Campaigning: 19 Dec 2022 - 1 Jan 2023 Voting: 2 Jan – 8 Jan 2023 Please note that the Campaigning Period & Voting Period will only take place if there is more than one nominee. In the case where there is only one nominee, Club Rule 3.3.4.1.7 applies, and the nominee will be elected by acclamation. The ACWGC Cabinet will be prepared to begin receiving nominations on 12 Dec 2022, and candidates will be required to meet the criteria as defined by the ACWGC rules (3.3.4.2 Eligibility): 1) Must hold the rank of Major General or above 2) Must be nominated by two other CSA members before being placed on the ballot. 3) Nominations must be submitted to the entire cabinet, email addresses of which will be provided below. 4) Nominations must include a statement that the nominated officer agrees to serve if elected. 5) If nominating, the officer should use the email address of record contained in the Department of Records. The election committee will work to verify the identity of the nominating officer. However, the nomination will be disqualified if this is not possible before the end of the nominating period. As stated in Rule 3.3.4.1.2, in the election of the CSA CoA, only CSA members at the rank of Major General, Lieutenant General or General, at the time the voting period begins, may vote for the CoA representing their respective military group. The Election Committee will use the Department of Records to verify ranks to determine office eligibility, and such other criteria as may be necessary to determine voting eligibility. Nominations for the CoA may be made by any regular officer subject to the restrictions in Rule 3.3.4.2.2.
