 Post subject: fatigue in 4.01 update

has anyone noticed the new penalty for night movement with update 4.01 optional rule. It seems excessive in turns in Gettysburg. There are a lot of night turns where reinforcements are coming on. If they march at night, by the time they arrive they will have accumulated quite a lot of fatigue.

A 50-point night movement penalty has been the norm for a while in WDS games. I can't recall when the rule was implemented (in terms of which update).

When units arrive on the map they do not suffer any fatigue penalty for coming on the board. But if they move then they incur a 50-point fatigue increase.

My own nighttime philosophy is to move freely for the first two turns and then mostly rest everyone all night afterwards.

thats what I do.........move two then wait

One thing that has changed is the fatigue penalty is now assessed immediately upon movement. Used to be beginning of the next turn.
