Thank you Sir for the notice. Indeed I am of that generation where the name John Prados was synonymous with board games, and good ones too. I am saddened at the news of his passing as he made my 'younger wargaming days' memorable. |

Had several of his games back in the day, Third Reich is one of the few board wargames I still have. It was a regular both at our local gaming group and played it at every Origins I went to in the '70's and 80's. Would play in the tourneys during the day and get up a game of 3rd Reich or a big MP game of Panzer Leader during the free gaming time often staying up until the wee hours of the morning. Those were the days my friend. |
