The ACWGC's Department of Records is arguably the most underappreciated website in the Club. Ours has been ran by Gen. Ernie Sands for many years and has remained an integral and important part of our Club since its creation. I give Ernie my personal thanks for his incredible effort and dedication to keeping the site up and running! For 2022 we will be "keeping score" in the Department of Records of each completed battle between Union and Confederate Members. Every OBD point earned in a battle, multiplayer, or one-on-one, will count towards your side's accumulative OBD point total in 2022. At the end of the year, we will use the Department of Records database to determine which side's members earned the most total OBD points in 2022. The side who earns the most points in recorded battles will be declared the victor of the Total War 1861 - 1865 Challenge. The results for December were tabulated and are as follows: 20 CONFEDERATE MAJOR VICTORIES 8 Confederate Minor Victories 6 Draws 8 Union Minor Victories 11 UNION MAJOR VICTORIES 408.24 - Confederate Points earned in December 368.26 - Union Points earned in December The ending Scoreboard for this Challenge brings a solid Confederate victory home to Dixie. 5,139.37 Confederate Points 4,550.51 Union Points |

There were certainly a large number of battles completed by a good mix of members totaling a massive 630 battles for the year. When other games are considered (manoeuvres and training) it's a lot of wargaming. The Total War Challenge certainly was "a solid Confederate victory". The total breakdown of the battles for 2022 was as follows: 241 CONFEDERATE MAJOR VICTORIES 87 Confederate Minor Victories 135 Draws 75 Union Minor Victories 92 UNION MAJOR VICTORIES First Corps, ANV managed to complete almost half the total CSA participation in the battles accounting for 213 of them. 104 CONFEDERATE MAJOR VICTORIES 27 Confederate Minor Victories 45 Draws 16 Union Minor Victories 21 UNION MAJOR VICTORIES A great effort and outstanding results that gave First Corps a better than 3:1 win/loss ratio. |
