Gentlemen,

As is customary in the Confederacy, we honor specific officers for their achievements and service on behalf of the Confederate States of America and the ACWGC. We do this twice a year in the winter and then in the summer. Today we will begin by recognizing the three officers who have earned the Robert E. Lee Medal for their service in 2022.

The Robert E. Lee Medal is "Awarded to only the most outstanding Confederate Commanding officers as determined by the General in Chief. This medal carries 10 Conduct OBD points." Only officers who hold a command position are eligible for this medal.

Lt. Gen. Paul Swanson! Lt. Gen. Swanson is an excellent Corps Commander in the ANV. His consistent effort to improve the gaming skills of those in his corps are unparalleled in the Confederacy. He takes pride in the accomplishments of his subordinates and is a credit to the ANV. This is Swanson's first Robert E. Lee Medal.

Maj. Gen. Tim Reneau! Maj. Gen. Reneau took over the command of Gator Alley and returned it to its rightful place as the most elite divisional unit in the Confederacy - and therefore in the entire Club. Reneau's enthusiasm is contagious and his division is a band of brothers who exemplify teamwork. This is Reneau's first Robert E. Lee Medal.

Gen. D.W. Mallory! Gen. Mallory recently completed his second stint as the Confederate Chief of the Armies. Mallory accepted the position in order to serve the Confederate Cause and the ACWGC. He fulfilled his duties with honor while also overseeing a complete rehaul of the Confederate Medal system. This is Mallory's third Robert E. Lee Medal.

General Strickler,

I'm sure I speak for Generals Swanson and Reneau when I say . . . "Cheers!"

Of course, we expect all drinks will be on General Strickler's tab. :D

Gentlemen <Salute>

Congratulations to each one of you on your award of the Robert E. Lee Medal. There can be no doubt but that each of you are, as the General in Chief noted, the most outstanding Officers of the Confederate States Armies in 2022 and highly deserving of such a prestigious award. As a member of the ACWGC I thank you for your devoted service, both to your individual Commands and to the ACWGC as a whole.

<Salute> Sirs,

Gentlemen, Sirs! <salute>

I wish to congratulate all 3 of the current awardees for their dedication to the Cause above and belong, richly deserved!

Say, I heard there was to be an open bar at this celebration?

I sure could use a libation and host a toast to these three outstanding CSA Officers!

Respectfully,

Your Obedient Servant,

General Nick Kunz

Congratulations gentlemen; thoroughly well earned medals in every single instance.

I don't fancy losing this particular round of 'Confederate Express Card Roulette' I must admit!

Well done & thank you for your service to the ACWGC.

Congratulations to all.

I am currently playing a multiplayer scenario with Lt. Gen. Swanson as my colleague, and it has been a pleasure. He is a valuable asset to the club.
