I think I'll adopt a cautious approach. You can never be sure of the full effect of the changes made may have on other aspects of the game. The mere fact that a warning appears yet apparently it "should have been removed" tells me a cautious approach is best.
In my only ongoing game in v4.01 we have all agreed not to update that title until after we have completed that multiplayer battle. In the only new battle I have started since the update we both updated that title prior to starting the game.

A wise approach I agree. Having several MP's going at this time, it'll be awhile before I get to update a number of them anyway.
