Gentlemen,

Gen. William Treuting has accepted a position in the Club's Recruiting Office and will be stepping down as the Army of Tennessee commander effective immediately. He served honorably in this role for the past six months and will maintain his position in the Western Theater by joining the Kunz's Second Corps as a brigade commander.

SALUTE

This brings me to the announcement of his replacement.

As you all know there are only four Army Commander positions in the ACWGC. In my opinion there is no finer position to hold in the Club and none which are more geared towards extroverts and active members. I am happy to announce that one of our most active and dedicated newer members, Lt. Col. Karl McEntegart, will be taking over the reins of the Army of Tennessee. McEntegart's enthusiasm is known to all and his desire to help the CSA, and really the entire Club, make this an easy decision.

Please join me in congratulating Karl McEntegart on his new assignment!

SALUTE

Many thanks to General Treuting for his impressive leadership of the Army of Tennessee - you are a tough act to follow, Sir!

I am delighted that you are able to pass the baton to such an enthusiastic and capable officer as Lt. Col McEntegart - congratulations Karl, and best of luck in your new command!

<Salute>

Steve,

Thank you kindly for the warm welcome. I have been known to fall over my own feet betimes so hopefully the 'step forward' will not prove a disaster !

The waving flag club is a without doubt a very unique and select group of enlightened individuals and in which I have no no doubt many will follow, but.....we were there First, Sir.

Capt. Brookes <salute>

That is a most excellent Georgia flag Sir and it waves so effortlessly in the gentle Southern breeze.

A fine job, Sir.
