On this date in 1862, the epic battle between the USS Monitor and the CSS Merrimack occurred at Hampton Roads. Which if you think about is a very silly name for a naval battle.

Speaking of silly, on this date in 1959 the first Barbie doll was introduced.

And that brings us full circle to Tim Reneau - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sir!

The real question - is Tim Reneau older than Barbie?

That puts the Over/Under at 64.

I'm going to take the Under.

I'm going to have to go get my spectacles to read these forum things going forward, I think General Strickler may have wished me a Happy Birthday...no guess not. On the plus side my prescription glasses can get updated now, I get a discount with my new AARP card. BTW - Barbie and I go way back...

Happy birthday for yesterday, Tim! Now put that birthday champagne in a saddle-bag & let's ride!
