Gentlemen:

I am pleased to report that I am not "hors de combat"! Although it was a close run thing, I am almost healthy and will soon be returning to game play. The vision is still the worst problem, but the sawbones says it will settle into a usable range.

To those with whom I was waging battle, I offer my sincere apologies for the disappearing act (as it were). It was beyond my control. My apologies nonetheless.

In any event, it is good to be returning to the field.
