Gentlemen,

I am pleased to announce the promotion of Major General Gary Krenek to Lieutenant General.

Gary graduated from VMI in 2005 and has served non-stop as a DC since 2006. He is now leading the First Corps of the ANV. I am always happy when we can recognize a long-serving member with an extra star. Congrats to the Texan and thank you for filling the position of CC and your years of service as DC.

SALUTE

Lieutenant General Krenek, <Salute>

Congratulations Gary on your promotion and thanks for assuming command of the First Corps!! You've been a fantastic job leading your Division for almost 20 years and it's been a pleasure to have served with you for many of them!!

Your participation in every almost every facet of the Club has been insurmountable!! Thank you for your continued great involvement in the CSA & ACWGC. The First Corps will no doubt have victory shine down upon it!! It's a great day when DC's like you & Tim Isgro, who were in commands with me over the years tale the next jump to Corps Command! It's a good inspiration for us all and a fine example to newer & junior rank officers!!
