American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

On Saturday General Ludwig and I met in that fine southern town Geraldine (in the CSA’s most southern state – New Zealand) An extensive seven course lunch was held, where we discussed the current stat of the war. Then ladies then adjourned to the sitting room to discuss the pros and cons of bone corsets and we took chairs on the porch to take cigars and whisky. Later in the afternoon were took a carriage ride to my temporary HQ (The House of Hop https://www.houseofhop.co.nz/ ) for a refreshing ale. Six hours later we had taken onboard an excessive amount of craft beer, so in good old Southern Tradition we started a bar fight and then trashed the place. A great day indeed.

Marshall's Brigade 'The St Andrews Greys', 2nd (Gator Alley) Division, Stewart's Corps, Army of Tennessee

Being severely delayed (and detained by a Yankee steamer off the Leeward Islands) & having just recovered from the "excessive amount of craft beer", it is great to say we had a fine time! Talked about many of a topic, ate many fine foods and of course drank ourselves into that good old Southern Tradition, General McOmish mentioned! The bar fight & tavern raid was of great success! With Cam on his mount and after I found my horse, whilst riding it backwards, we busted into that tavern. I fired seven shots off before falling into the poker table, but all eight shots hit their target! My biggest victory to date in the almost 21 years I've been in this fine Club! 

All in all it was a great time!
