Gentlemen <salute>

I wish to inform you that General Nick Kunz has resigned his position as Commander of II Corps, Army of Tennessee. General Kunz has been a constant source of help and guidance throughout our service, we worked well together, and I wish him well in his continuing duties at the ATA in the ACWGC. He has not however left the Army and has accepted a post at Brigade in the 4th Cavalry Division of the Army.

As a result of the foregoing, I am pleased to announce the assignment of Major General Tim Reneau to Command of II Corps of the Army of Tennessee. He will bring his many and varied skills and experience to bear there, I have no doubt. I am both pleased and honored he accepted the post and I look forward to working most closely with him in the future.

Brigadier General Tom Marshall will now assume Command of the 2nd Division (Gator Alley), II Corps, Army of Tennessee, and where I have every confidence he will continue the long traditions of his predecessor, General Reneau, in this notable Division. I am, once again, most pleased to have General Marshall at the helm of the ‘Gator’.

Gentlemen, I propose your congratulations to these three fine Officers of the Army of Tennessee on their chosen paths.

General McEntegart, Sir! <salute>

Karl, thank you for the kind words as I transition back to brigade command of Armstong's Cavalry Brigade!

It has been my honor and privilege to serve as Commanding General of the 2nd Corps, Army of Tennessee!
It has afforded me the opportunity to get to know those members a little better with our mustering procedures!

I have every faith in the ability of General Tim Reneau as he takes the reigns of the 2nd Corps!
Just as he has done with the aggressive Gator Alley Division, he will now lead his Corps with distinction!

Congratulations to Brigadier General Thomas Marshall as he steps in to lead the fame Gator Alley Division!

And many thanks to all the members of the AWCGC, I have met many of you in battle
and look forward to continuing to meet new and old members alike on the battlefield!

General Kunz thankyou for your service to the fine Army of Tennesse and the club <SALUTE>. I assume you will be hosting some sort of out-of-control drunken party to mark the occasion?
