Howdy all! I'm a fresh graduate of the Academy, just getting started and I wanted to say Hey to you folks! I live in Nevada. I'm an old dude (all being relative and all) and was a Pro musician for decades. Got the Civil War fever in 1960 when the Centennial happened, it was a big deal for us kids. Studied CW stuff in the 70s (1970s, not 1870s) and did a lot of wargaming (SPI for CW stuff mostly) in my younger days. Haven't done much at all in several years, then a buddy told me about this and here I am. They big boys put me with the AotP, wearing Blue! Pleased to be here and hope to have some fun! Lt. Fleming |

One day my wargaming buddy came over with a pickup truck and took all my games except a couple. I was moving across the country in 2000 and was getting rid of everything I owned so I didn't have to move it. He was really happy that day. Seems he'd rather have the games than me as a close gaming buddy lol! I had many SPI titles. They had the 'Great Battles' series that used the same system and we played all of em. Pea Ridge was one of my favs with Wilsons Creek and the BIG ones, TSS and Bloody April. We'd divide up commands and give guys a Corp or a Division. Really fun times! And I'm learning about how this game works as I play it...I'll be able to put a good fight soon! Cheers boys! |
