" ... The idea came from a post in the WDS website from rsupplz that listed historical battles. This list was put into a spreadsheet by Rich Hamilton and posted on that site for download. This uses Rich's spreadsheet as a base. I manually reviewed every scenario description included with the WDS games (which does not include custom scenarios) and listed every scenario that I found that the designer claimed was historical. The exclusions did involve some discretionary decisions and if there were more than one scenario for that battle, then the largest was listed. There are a couple of cases where a battle was included on more than one campaign game, and both were listed. Examples are included below but are in easier to read columns in the spreadsheet.
