My name is Tony Hernandez. I have been a hex and counter guy for 10+ years, but feel embarrassed in just learning about JTS/WDS games these past five years. I am now completely in on WDS games.

I play PzC like most, but i love the Napoleonic era and have now made the move over to enjoying the ACW. Not just in gameplay, but with history as well.

I have a normal job where i work from home for a specialty pharmacy, but i am also a writer. I have written 9 books, 3 of them historical fiction. A novel is set in the Eastern Front, a short set in the Siege of Toulon in 1793, and now a short about the French Resistance. So i enjoy playing our hobby to have fun and to continue to learn.

Looking forward to playing with everyone and making new friends!

Welcome to the club young man, not sure about your choice of the Union cause. Wearing a blue uniform is not that attractive to the ladies, however it is very attractive to lead and bayonets. If you ever have a crisis of conscience and have a hankering to fight for the rightful cause that is the Confederacy, give me a holla. You will find me at Mrs Miggins Bordello and pie shop, 1311 Washington Street, Vicksburg.

Dearest General Cam McOmish,

Consider your offer...considered.

As me and my men roam the South to keep our great nation as *one* great nation, i must agree that your Southern Belles are quite the peach to look at. Alas, i am devote Lincolnite. While we envy your monopoly of King Cotton, i do not envy your choice of gray. From New York to Michigan, Union Blue suits me just well.

Good luck on the battlefield and may God bless us all. We are brothers estranged...for now. But we are all brothers. And we are all Americans.

Sinclerely,

Yours truly

A Unionist

Just wanted to thank everyone again for their kind responses and hellos.

My moral has taken a hit since i have received no welcome from my fellow Yankees :-(

Maybe i should reconsider General Cam McOmish's offer... ;-)

No please don't do that...

Welcome and apologies on behalf of the Union, we need all the voluntary help we can get or we'll have to resort to the draft or paying sign-up bonuses.. I volunteered in December last year, couldn't have wished for a friendlier crowd.

Yes, I was a hex and counter lad once (since 1977, Squad Leader), but I saw the light in c2000 with TOAW (The Operational Art of War), wow really all my old (50+) games in the one package...
