I understand the command and leadership ratings of leaders however the Bracket and a g have me confused

Was thinking of including this brigade in an attack but a rating of G [F] seems like this guy would be a rout machine for the yanks |

I did find the bracket letter it is the default rating however the G still has me stumped is it a typo perhaps and it should be a C |

Wow! I don't recall ever seeing a G rating. However, the fact that it is accompanied by the [F] tells me it is probably correct. What a G means in terms of game calculations is unknown to me, but it will not be good. There's far too much to mention to write here. I think that you have a need to do a lot of reading. Start with Sections 5.7.1 and 5.7.2 of the User Manual. Look at relevant articles in the Training Academy. There is also much useful advice in the War College around this matter. None of them mention a 'G'. It is unheard of as far as I know. I suspect something else of a more general nature is going wrong. If you are asking this, and other, questions in relation to 'what I think you are asking them about' then you should raise them to me (or another CSA Member) directly or discuss it in Southern Raiders. If I discuss it here in any detail you could be disadvantaged. |

Since Mahone starts out with an F rating, when he fails a Command Test the game just makes him a "G" which is the lowest rating ("0"). It's like he's not even there

I will post at the southern raider's college from here out . Hey he will be the Melee king as I get a 10% bump for a leader and if I lose him Maybe his replacement will be better LOL SO TO BE CLEAR THE BRACKET RATING IS IF HE PASSES AND THE RATING TO THE LEFT IS IF HE FAILS? |

Actually, the bracket is his base but since he failed and had no modifiers it goes to a g had he had a divisional and Corp it and he passed it would be a d |

Don't count on it. Replacement Leaders (for Brigade Commanders) are F,F. At least with Mahone you have F,D. |
