FELLOW CLUB MEMBERS

LET'S BRAINSTORM ON IDEAS FOR A MP LEAGUE

We could start out with as little as 4 teams 2 all CSA 2 all USA member teams, or 6+

Battles would be shorter affairs perhaps in order to allow for more games to be played.

thoughts?

3 or 4 man teams?

While 4 would be fun it would require more players.
The benefits of MP play at least for me is that it takes less time to play in that you have less men to move so less time to make your move
it adds so much more fun as you are depending on each other to share the same vision to defeat the foe MP Gaming is the way this game should be played

It's a good idea and I wish you well.

Many people are particular about who they play with, and against, so that may cause some issues. Also, the 'ideal' number of players on a team will often be affected by the scenario itself. Some are more suited to three and others four (others maybe two or five: beyond five would tend to get unwieldy). The first MP I played was 4X4 and each of us only had a brigade each. We whizzed through the turns as players on both sides were prompt responders. It was a lot of fun.

Perhaps it may be better to compile a list of those interested in MP games and then teams could be formed from those lists when a scenario is proposed. People may also want to express an interest in the type of games they want to play (e.g. meeting engagement, small/big map, small/large battle).

All good points. I guess the true players will play the battle before them
