I noticed a change. Why is the scenario played made as an optional entry? Without this information, doesn't that diminish the DOR's usefulness in determining which scenarios are balanced for PBEM play? I don't understand the reason?

Hi Rich,

To sum it up the answer to your question real quick - in order to accomodate the scenario selection dropdown menus requires having a separate entry sheet/form for every title in the series. The host I use allows just four free forms per account. With 15+ games (each needing a separate form) the only way to do it would be to create a paid account with the host. We are moving away from paid sites as much as possible and so I just made the field optional that way the site remains free to utilize. The costs of the old site skyrocketed to a level unimaginable 5 years ago and so going with the free options was the necessary move.

So far, one month in, every registered game this month has included the scenario people have played in that optional field. I was as surprised as you probably are. If people input the scenario I add that info to the DOR.
