Post subject:  First Bull Run Challenge has Ended

The First Bull Run Challenge between officers of I Corps, Army of the Potomac, and III Corps, Army of the Mississippi has concluded.

Final Tally of the matches:

Union Major Victories = 7
Union Minor Victories = 1

CSA Major Victories = 8
CSA Minor Vicotries = 0

Draws = 2

So by the narrowest of margins, the III Corps, Army of the Mississippi has won the First Bull Run Challenge!

I'll be posting the results at both Army taverns as well as the Mason-Dixon. Since we lost, I guess I'll have to pay for the drinks, so stop on by and live it up at my expense!

Mighty sporting of you to call the victory for the CSA--For a Bluebelly your all right. Perhaps we can wrangle some trades between the commands, I believe one of my men is working on some mighty fine wiskey--what you got over there? Thanks for the games, sorry so many took so long to complete. Our men raise a salute for your men in Blue.
Sometime perhaps we should sport a Laub vrs. Laabs challenge.

Wait a minute! His name was NOT HAR DEE HAR HAR, but was William Joesph HARDEE, Lt Gen, Confederate Cavalry and a Corps commander.
