With the agreement of the senior Union leadership I am appointing Lt. General Ernie Sands to complete the term of Lt. General Matt Perrenod. The Cabinet decided that making this appointment rather then holding another election was the way to proceed. My thanks to Lt. General Perrenod for his service and to Lt. General Sands for graciously agreeing to serve.
