ETA: remember, that HPS won't have these games out for general release for a few weeks... not sure when, but these must be the two "Mystery" games released at Tillercon.

Actually, I'm less interested in Shiloh proper, than in what the "other" battles in the game will be.

Will it include Ft. Donelson? Inquiring minds want to know.

MMMMMM.....could be! [:D] In all seriousness, let's just say that the decisive battle of the Campaign doesn't necessarily have to be fought at Shiloh, just as in Gettysburg. If I say anything more than that Rich'll skin me alive!

Lt. Berli,

Personally, I'm seriously considering quitting my day job so I'll have more time to play [:D] ! (Of course, my wife might have a thing or two to say about that [B)].)

On a more serious note, it is expected that posts in the Mason-Dixon Tavern include your rank, in addition to your army affiliation. (You can add this in your 'profile', found in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, so you don't have to remember it each time. Then you only have to remember it when you get promoted!)

Again, though, thanks for the information. Campaign Shiloh sounds like it could be an earlier-war version of Campaign Corinth. (What campaign with Shiloh in the mix wouldn't include Corinth, only 20 miles away?) Being a Westerner myself, I particulary enjoy the western theater. Good thing I already picked up Campaign Peninsula, or I'd be tempted to skip it and go straight for this one. As it is, I'll go home tonight and see how my piggy bank is looking [:)] -- and anxiously await the official announcement !

If I keep buying games at this rate, though, I'll NEVER save up enough to pick up that painting I want. (See www.johnpaulstrain.com/art/the-horse-marines.htm , or www.dixieprints.com/strain_horse_marines.html [V] )

Dudgummit people, ya'll is coming out with these new games much too fast! I haven't even finished my first Gettysburg campaign yet, have a few Peninsula campaigns still going, and now Shiloh! Lordy, how am I supposed to have time for a job and all of these games! I'm just going to have to join Gen. Mallory and quit the job to focus on the more important issues in life!

I was hoping Shiloh would be in the works. There were a lot of missed opportunities in that campaign that could have changed the war drastically. But I especially hope it includes Ft. Donnelson, and the earlier battles, because they were all very related...

I was sort of hoping for <i>Campaign: Antietam</i> or a <i>Campaign: Atlanta</i>.

As for the WWII title it sounds really interesting. I am, however, hoping for another Squad Battles game. North Africa, perhaps.

Nevertheless, I will purchase these two titles as they are released and play the H3ll out of them. I have actually completely ceased all computer gaming except for HPS/BG titles as I belong to three online gaming clubs. This one, the NWC, and the PzCC. Although, the <i>Horse & Musket</i> series looks pretty intriguing.

Lt. Smith, Sir

How can Navalwarfare.com have lower prices than HPS ? There is something I don't understand. (Warfare is my specialty, not economics.)
