Hi Tony!

Ambrose Ransom 'Rans' Wright, Major General
Born April 26, 1826 at Louisville, Jefferson County GA
Wounded at Antietam/Sharpsburg
Died December 21, 1872 at Augusta GA
Buried Magnolia Cemetery, Augusta

Marcus Joseph Wright, Brigadier General
Born June 5, 1831 at Purdy TN
Died December 27, 1922 at Washington DC
Buried Arlington National Cemetery

If Ye refer to #1 - I'm afraid could still be recovering from his wounds at Sharpsburg? [xx(]

If Ye refer to #2 - he served in Cheatam's Brigade out West. I would think that if'n he was at Getty . . . well, He was surely lost!!!!

He's asking about #1 who was wounded at Antietam, but fought at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg.
While his brigade arrives on the afternoon of 1 July, he himself doesn't arrive till the next day if I'm not mistaken.

Scott

I see it now. Wright arrives at 6AM. I guess Anderson`s Division will just have to wait for him[;)]

Thanks Scott

General Schlitte,

Apprently those wounds affected his movement rate and he just couldn't keep up with his brigade! [8D]

I've been playing Day 2 at Getty and was surprised to find Gen. Wright arriving without his brigade, but about the same time as McLaws. It took me a while to realize his brigade was already there![:0]
