Gentlemen:

Three members of 1st corps ANV look for adversary and ... nobody appears[:(].Like in the authentic war, the bluebillies are "very to much afraid" to fight against the boys of the Longstreet's Corps[:D][8D].
I think that it will be impossible to search a few adversaries in the future for a tournament against my boys[?].

Lt. General A. de Meré,

Sir! I saw your post in the PBEM Opponent finder And assumed it was a singles match. I am currently engaged with some Rebs at HPS Gettysburg 1.2 (17 Turns). Them Rebs just keep on running when under fire and we are down to one Reb in one match and only two Rebs in the Other. When those two wind up I will be looking for another battle field to lead my XXV Corps AoJ Troops to Glory. What field of battle were you considering? What scanerio in particular?

Dear Lt. General A. de Meré,

Sir, I have never heard of any one attempting a multi-player (3 per side) HPS Campaign Gettysburg. That sounds like a very long drawn out process. I am curretly engaged in HPS Gettysburg 1.2 (17 Turns) which is coming up on 6 months to get to turn 15. Perhaps you should consider a single day scenario on the HPS Gettysburg platform. I have not participated in a tournament, but would be interested perhaps the XXV Corps AoJ VS the 1st Corps ANV. Let me know the details and when you are ready. Then I will rally the troops needed for the engagement.

A group of five members of the VIII Corps, AoS, is currently taking on a collection of four Rebel gentlemen in a Gettysburg campaign. This is actually our second go - we went through abbreviated Brandy Station and Rappahannock matches in the previous outing, at which point our opponents found it necessary to resign. To find a new field, we started a new campaign at Gettysburg (where it will also probably end). We're about 45 turns into it.

You can pull this off if there's a strong commitment from all involved to exchange turns quickly. I like to think that we in the VIII are good at it, because we've known each other for quite a while, and have experience at working with each other.

Also, it's important to designate a coordinator for each side who's willing to pursue members of his own side when the pace lags. Again, we seem to be pretty good nags.

So I wouldn't dismiss the idea of a 3 on 3 campaign out of hand. If we hadn't already been busy, Gen. de Mere, we might have taken you on.
