Post subject:  Restoring a Campaign Game

Gentlemen,

Hopefully someone out there can help this poor semi-computer illiterate Yankee and his opponents with a little problem.

We are deep into the Penn Campaign (4th game of the campaign) when I had a catastrophic and fatal error on my desktop computer drive. Getting some data back may be a possibility, only time (and the Computer Doctors)will tell.

I have purchased a new system and have it running. Restarting stand alone games seems to not be a problem. But I cannot get my campaign games running. I have the .cpf,.bto, and .btc in the Campaign Penninsular file, but it won't run. Get a replay error and nothing else.

Are there other files my opponent needs to send to me?? What am I missing, or are we out of luck. Gots lots of time and effort on both sides invested here in is a close fought campaign and we don't want to restart we can help it.

Please help this dispondent Yankee and his valient opponents,

Your Humble Servant,

I would check to see what patch for CP each of you is using.

Gentlemen,

The campaigns are back on line and men ar marching to the sound of the guns. You do need all three files (.cpf, .btc & .bto). Then you have to make sure both sides truely are on the same patch.

Thanks Rob.
