As night fell, a hush fell over the newly arrived
IIICORPS, as they settled in for the night. Then from
the gathering gloom, the sound of a fierce rebel yell,
and Johnsons' entire division were upon them like
ghosts. The night would not protect them now, their
only salvation would be in prayer.....
