Post subject:  Order of the Palmetto
Gentlemen:

Just to keep everyone updated, the 2nd Division II Corp has issued it's first Order of the Palmetto to BG Willie Tisdale for the month of July. In one battle, ID # 06Jul10947, HPS Ozark 01a Boonville, playing against Lt. Col. David Swartz 3/2/XXXIII. This officer was able to get a total of 134 points. In this battle the following Union Officers were captured: Capt. Joseph Plummer, 3) Col. Anonymous, Col. Franz Sigel, Maj Samuel Sturgis, Col. Gratz Brown and MG John C. Fremont. The following were killed: Col Robert Mitchell, BG Thomas Sweeny and wonded was Col. Charles Salomon.

LtC Swartz was able to take the win with a Minor Victory but he lost alot of Command Staff in the process.

At the end of August, I will post the next award winner for the 2nd Division.
