Post subject:  Another month goes by and no new title???!!!
Just a bit downhearted that we still don't have anything new on the Civil War front from HPS - been 14 months since Shiloh was released, longer since it came out earlier for TillerCon1, and based on HPS' tendency to release on the first Friday of a month, it's another month until the next chance.

So much promise seemed there when Gettysburg was released - maps of many of the major battlefields and so many possibilities. It's been 2 years since Getty was released...

General Laub,

But Tiller Con II is right around the corner (well, okay, next Spring may still seem like a long ways off to <i>some</i> [:)] ) and HPS has promised at least one free game to all paid attendees. Shiloh was the big announcement at Tiller Con I, and I've still barely scratched the surface on that one.

As much as I'd like to see Campaign: Vicksburg, or Campaign: Chattanooga/Chickamauga, or Campaign: Northern Virginia/Overland Campaign, or Campaign: Shenandoah, this might just serve to build more excitement for Tiller Con II. (And, no, I'm not privy to any HPS secrets, just taking this opportunity to express some of MY guesses [:D] !)

Actually, a little birdie told me that they are redoing the engine for the next game... it will be kind of a prequel... not a FPS, but a FPT... a first person thrasher. Your job will be to lurk though the halls of the Senate and beat down Senators with a walking stick.

Of course, this will be more fun for the Confederate player than we poor union types.
