Post subject:  Reb Wanted For HPS Battle of Shiloh

Scenario 147 (same as historical 144 but has an exit hex for Union at rear of Confederate lines just to keep the Reb on the battlefield); ALL OPTIONS ON; and I'll start with a bang on file returns but once a lot of Union units are involved, I can be sporadic.

Hi Ned,

I'll have to take the wrapper off my Shiloh disk, but this would be a good excuse to install it. If you're still looking, I'll have Albert Sydney put on his special uniform with the bull's eye painted on it ("Bummer of a birthmark, Hal!" for those in the know. [:o)]).

Let 'er rip, Sean. I owe you one anyway for holding off a whole Union Corps with artillery batteries at Antietam a long time ago. At least that won't work with HPS. We'll make ye walk the gang plank in this one and the bull's eye will be painted in Reb blood so that the sharks can't miss (good heavens, when did the Tennessee River get sharks?).

Oh, yes, I remember that - that's what we in the South call a desperation move! Infantry routed, reinforcements still a turn away. If your guys hadn't routed, it would've been game over. Yes, the gun casualties in HPS seem to be missing a couple of 0's on the results (2 instead of 200!).

Look on the bright side - I've *never* won at Shiloh. [:D]

File on its way sometime today...
