This reb would like to show you the bayonet, suh. I'm a little confused by what you mean by "a smallish battle" - small in unit count or short in duration. Other than the small Historical Oak Grove which is a sleep aid for the confederates and not worth the time to play, most of the shorter one day to half day scenarios such as Beaver Dam Creek, Gaines Mills, etc. could put the whole army in play. I defer to you, suh for your battlefield of choice. I usually play with all options but manual defensive fire but I'm also flexible. Awaiting you courier, sir. Fld Lt Barber 3rd Bde, 1st Inf Div.
