Boonville, Mo. June 17, 1861.
US Brigadier-General Nathaniel Lyon moved to Boonville to established Union control of the Missouri River and dampened secession efforts. He met a small Missouri State Guard force commanded by CS Colonel J.S. Marmaduke.

One USA and one CSA officer are needed to play this Ozark scenario.
The first two officers to reply will fight the battle.

The scenario ID is CO 01 Boonville_Histscn.scn (21 turns).
You will fight for 4 victory points for the 1st HACW.

I would be greatly obliged, if'n Ye would do Me the Great Honour, of listing me as the Defending Officer Commanding the CSA Forces at Booneville.

I may not be able to drive the Feds from the Field Suh - but, I will delay them sufficiently - for the Mississippi State Guard to remove their Wagon Train to Safety!
