Col David McGown and I are seeking 2 yankee officers for a Gettysburg campaign. Single phase turns, all options except MDF, and would like to try (but don't have to) an embedded melee phase. Basically, and this is stealing an idea from the Nappy club if from nowhere else, you declare a "melee phase" during your turn. Units move/fire that wish to, then melees are done, and then other units that have yet to move/fire may do so <u>but no more melees are allowed</u>. So you can break in and surround, but it cuts down on the blitzkrieg. At least in theory! Who will defend Pennsylvania from Southern liberation??
