There are a number of people who play the Battleground games, they were the only game played here when I joined in 1999. I picked up the Matrix versions myself when I switched to Win 7 as there were still a number of members playing them, they work fine under Win 10. I also have an extensive library of scenarios for the BG games, can be a bit tricky starting them in the Matrix versions. I occasionally take a Battleground game as my choice of options for the Campaign games aren't popular but nearly everyone plays all options on in the BG games. If you've played the Campaign games it's a little different, there is no Turn Mode, BG only plays in Phases. |
