I'm playing one of the Groveton scenarios (Antietam) with Nick Kunz and it prompted me to pull "Return to Bull Run" by John Hennessy off the shelf and read through the part about that engagement and the fierce firefight at the Brawner farm. Hennessy's book is excellent. A good companion text to have close at hand is "The Maps of Second Bull Run" by Bradley M Gottfried. |
