Hello everyone

A few years ago a book was published in France on an officer of the confederacy who participated in a revolution in a country in South America.
With the name of personage I could make a search to acquire this work.
He must be known for a book to be written in French on this story.
I thank you in advance for any information that can help me.

Robideau Wheat, of the Louisiana Tigers, was one such officer. He also fought with Garibaldi in Italy. He was killed in the Seven Days. I suspect there was more than one officer that fits the bill.

Thank you for your reply.
Nor did I know the history of these officers who came to fight in Italy.
I received the reply by email.
My search was wrong, it was not a Southern officer.
William Walker 1824-1860.
With the name I found the work in French.
