What happens during Confederate History Month? Are there 'special' days within it?

Here's some fun ideas of things to do:
Children could visit Jeff Davis lookalikes in department stores where they get to sit on his lap and hear a story about those times;
School lessons are themed (e.g. If a Confederate is worth three Yankees, how many Yankees are ten Confederates worth?);
Cussing of Yankees in your State is not just condoned but encouraged; and
On Fort Sumter Day there are large community events where feasts are held and Confederate songs from the time are sung (prizes are awarded for the best R. E. Lee lookalike).

LOL. Fortunately, there is a considerable distance between me and the partisan politics of the USA.

We've had very little in regard to rebellions. The two most prominent being:
The Rum Corps Rebellion where Governor Bligh [Yes, Bligh of the Bounty] was ousted in a coup d'état (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rum_Rebellion); and
The Eureka Rebellion (over mining licences) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eureka_Rebellion).

The Eureka Rebellion was quashed. An African American, John Joseph, was the first of the rebels to be tried for sedition and high treason (they probably thought a black foreigner would be the easiest target). He was found not guilty. The verdict was cheered in court and John Joseph was chaired through the streets of Melbourne. The others were also found not guilty. The leader of the Eureka Rebellion, Peter Lalor (who had escaped), then emerged from hiding and, less than a year later, was elected unopposed to a seat in the Victorian Parliament.
