Hello everyone,

I'm Logan Watson, a new recruit from Michigan. I'm freshly new to the WDS game series but have had an interest in strategic games ever since I was younger, and I'm excited to try a deeper wargame against real human opponents. Ive always had an interest in the American Civil War, and have read a few books on it, and am currently still reading Civil war medicine, challenges and triumphs. I don't have quite an encyclopedic knowledge on the battles and overall course of the war as many here probably do but i am keenly interested in learning more. I enthusiastically look forward to playing a wargame against a human opponent, even if it means getting whipped.

For a small bit about me, I'm a 20-year-old student, currently still in my associates degree, with a tenuous plan to go into materials or mechanical engineering, but there are too many interesting things in this world to say I'm fully committed to any path yet. I have some experience in non-historical wargames like BATTLETECH and Warhammer 40k, as well as ttrpgs like PF2E. In my free time i play a myriad of games, hunt, read (not as much as I should!) and occasionally try my hand at drawing.

I look forward to meeting, Aswell as playing with many of you, and would like to thank Nick Kunz for the swift and warm welcome.

Regards,

Cadet Logan Watson! <salute>

Welcome to the ACWGC, a great place to meet like-minded folks who have an interest in the American Civil War!

Excellent job of posting here at the Mason Dixon Tavern, may you have a long and enjoyable stay!

Lots of gaming awaiting your arrival once you have graduated from ATA and completed your match against a newer Reb in the Lt's Cup!

Enjoy the journey of learning how to play these wonderful games from your instructor, General Schwartz!

Your Obedient Servant,

General Nick Kunz
Commanding,
Armstrong's Cavalry Brigade,
2nd Corps, AoT

Commandant, ATA

Welcome to the club Logan, I am not sure that blue is your colour, so if you ever have a hankering for team Grey give me a holla. You will find that in Union Taverns they only serve milk and low alcohol beer, so you have been warned

As a recently graduated cadet myself (currently undertaking the Lt's Cup), welcome to the club, Logan!

It's a pleasure to see another student getting into the club! (I myself am 24, about to pursue a PhD in Civil War Military History) Hope to see you on the battlefield!
