Son's of the South and Union Friends,
Come have a drink with me as I mark my 5 Year Anniversary in the Club today. It has been an amazing 5 years. [:)] I have met and played so many great people. Garry Cope my instructor at VMI. Tony Hill, ANV III Corps (sadly retired I see) and Den McBride. Being a Lt. Colonel and in charge of the ANV for 2 years was an amazing stint. We had a great force then and it is still great now. Thanks to Dave Bowman and Alan Lynn. III Corps ANV CO for sometime as well. My heart is always with the III Corps. That outfit was great! Jon Thayer, Claes Melbro, Steve Edgar, some of the best DC's a guy could have.
Then going to the West and finding true enjoyment out here. Den McBride (Former ANV CO) gave me my first break in command. Thanks to DW Mallory. Thanks to my two AC's, the finest out there, Jon Cuneo and Tony Malone. Also thanks to Bob Weir for his help these past few months.
Nick Kunz, Larry, the Moose, Willie, Gery Bastiani for keeping me interested when I had a lot of things going on....
Jeff Laub...thanks for the many games. [:)] Hats off to many of you yankee boys! Don Golen, Jeff Bangma, Mark Oakford, John Corbin, Ernie Sands, DS Walter, Antony Barlow, Mike Gjerde, Bill Zuelsdorff, Many good old tavern brawls....
Special thanks to longtime friends Phil Chimara, Dale Lastowicka, Steve Kitchen, Gary McClellan and Phil Roubaud
The list goes on and on and on...way too many to recall...but thanks to the whole Club! [B)][:p]
