Bill, of all the comments on this post, yours is by far the absolutely most humorous! Just the image of it is right out of some Western comedy film like Cat Ballou or Blazing Saddles. Frankly I hope they can fix it as now that the glitch is out of wraps, it may inevitably end up causing some brew-ha-ha when someone snatches a "last turn" objective hex that the opponent had counted out ahead feeling secure that it couldn't be reached...be a helluva way to lose a battle on the last turn. Enough to make one dizzy [:D]
