Some great news rather hot off the press, but Wargame Design Studio (WDS) has purchased the full JTS game catalogue with the intention to continue to publish and enhance the complete range of games. They also intend to publish new games, which the ACW Series is the first one to get a new game, Forgotten Campaigns: https://wargameds.com/products/forgotten-campaigns

WDS has been doing support & enhancements for JTS games since 2016. All games will be rebranded under the WDS name. Their original site link and JTS' site link will route to the new address: https://wargameds.com

Their About Us section briefly mentions the change: https://wargameds.com/pages/about-us-wds

There's a great FAQ section that talks about the changes: https://wargameds.com/blogs/news/wargam ... -campaigns

A key point mentioned: All games purchased through John Tiller Software are completely supported in the same manner that JTS has supported them for years.

The folks at WDS have been working on the various series for years and we've all benefitted from that for sure.

So this is great news on the continued legacy of what John started! 8)

WDS also just sent out an email about the changes to those on the JTS mailing list.

Hadn't noted that prior Steve, good catch! Yeah....Greene or Morgan might've been better choices.

The games look good though with the updates! 8)

Morgan would be pretty good if talking strictly about the period of 1775 - 1783 as he was involved pretty much everywhere. With Arnold at Quebec, and of course the Cowpens, and all points in between. There aren't many resumes that would be that filled as Daniel Morgan. I guess the issue is it is a pretty broad period- as you have your guy Amherst, all of the War of Independence, then Winfield Scott ... now there's a portrait selection crisis to be sure. :)

You're right Steve, I wasn't thinking of the whole series! That is true you'd need someone to cover it all. Amherst covers at least FIW & 1776. Scott covers the other two and as you aptly pointed out the portrait selection crisis as well!! 8)
