A public thank you to William (Mingoe) Rhodes who has successfully trained me.Mingoe is a fine man,a great warrior, and leader. I have been assigned to Capt. David O'Conner, Colonial American Army, Northern Dept. I am looking forward to being in his service as we drive the British from our shores.

Now down to business. This Colonial is looking to fight. Where are you Redcoats? Come out, take it like a man. Campaign 1776 and can do six turns a week. I await your courier.

Fresh Recruits are tempting, But as soon as you turn a Cpl. You will have some experience under your belt. Then send me a courier. Or we can by pass all of that and head straight to the battlefield :)

Tally ho Private Maines, and congratulations on completing your training!

I assume that Chief Rodes also attempted to teach you the paganish practice of scalping, eh what? Well, all the better I say. That talent will serve you well when you're taken prisoner and sent to the potato pile for peeling my meals. BTW sir, I've just given a hearty slap to the flank of my aide's mount, who will greet you shortly with terms of battle. Please see that this gentleman does get his 4 o'clock tea before returning, eh old boy?

I do believe that you Chief Rodes, have also sealed your fate by accepting a 1st Foot Guards challenge.....let me check my correspondence. Yes indeed, here 'tis. We are awaiting your choice of field sir, and gentleman's options. If, you can call one who boils women and children a "gentleman"...ahem!

We await word from both of our esteemed opponents.

Oh no Phil,
don't frighten young colonials. They tend to disappear after a meeting with your boys Kill not all of them and you get a second fight.

Pvt Maines, if they ask for Tarelton's quarter, give it to em....Now good Col Natta, I believe you have mistaken the scalping habits of the Six Nations for those of the Muskogee tribes. Yes, I would happily claim a battle prize of a Chickasaw or Shawnee if we had a war party against that tribe, but women and children? I will leave that to your Creek allies and their Ft Mims massacre.

As far as our match goes, we are on, just let me finish an exciting match at Camden with Reg Tim Moore of the Hessian Jagers first. For the time being we are at peace with the 1st.
