Gentlemen, back from my vacation I had to find out, that my computer has been infected by a virus. Hopefully you did not suffer by this. The virus is defeated, but I neither get access to any internet site, nor I am able to receive or send emails. The message reads Download von Site://C:\Windows\System\SHDOCLC.DLL/dns.error.htm Does anyone of you know what happened to my computer and is probably able to help? (what I have already done is DOS scanreg /restore, but without success) Any emails received between May 14th and May 30th are lost again (so please send again!!!!) and as I am not able to get access to emails and the internet at my computer all battles still running have to pause again. Sorry about this. I have no idea how long it will take to solve the problem, but it may take longer. So I offer unconditional surrender to all of you who do not want to postpone the battles any longer. I am able to use the computer of my parents-in-law from time to time, but this is only a way to read or send emails or have a look at this message board, not to continue the battles. Sorry again, I am the one who regrets this most. If possible, HELP!!!!!! Cheers Tom |
