| Post subject: | A Salute to the Greatest Friend a Gamer Ever Had |
Please fly the flag at half-mast, uncover, and pay your last salute to my dearly departed Siamese cat, Casper, whom I had to have the vetinarian put to sleep today. Casper was a great friend and family member who wandered into our lives some 3 years ago. Despite having leukemia he seemed to be destined to live on forever. He would sit on the desk with me while I did game design work, played out game files or just browsed the web. An early indulgence in attacking the mouse was turned into being more interested in catching some sleep during long sessions of his master on the keyboard. While laying on the couch, he would jump up on the arm and then to the back of the couch and assume his usual sleeping position, head on a pillow, that a friend made for my mom, and front paw stretched out in front of him. We watched many a movie together in this fashion. He will be sorely missed. This gamer is taking today off from gaming in honor of his dear departed friend. No game files will be forthcoming from me until tomorrow. |
