Of the Campaign games concluded there were 19 French-Player Majors, 8 French-Player Minors, 19 Draws, 8 British-Player Minors, and 9 British-Player Majors. 2 games were still in progress when peace was declared.

5 British-side players earned a Campaign Victory: Bonachia, Durant, Natta, Peterson, Hargreaves

The Officer Casualty Contest, while small in terms of the points available, turned out to be a significant influence on the individual results.

In the replies below is a copy of the fianl status report with more details.

<b><center>Background</center></b>

As mentioned in another post the Indian Alliance and French Army Team missed a victory over a Continental Army and British Army Team in the Great Uprising of ’03-04 (scenarios designed by Rich Hamilton) by a single victory. Both teams have decided to embark on a new season of campaigning in a Tourney called le Tour de Siskuhhana.

http://games.homestead.com/leTourFIW.html

Briefly the tourney includes the following:

-Depending on your club army you will either be part of the Indian Alliance and French Army Team or the Continental Army and British Army Team.

-We will try something new this time and you will play an original French & Indian War Campaign designed by Al Amos. (<i>Obviously this means you need to have the HPS FIW title to participate</i>)

-The first round kicked off on January 20 (ended March 10) and consisted of a new,14 turn, blind scenario designed by Al Amos that serves as an introduction to the Campaign that will be the core of the competition.

-Al is using this to test out some new gaming ideas that could become part of future standard scenarios. So players are on the "bleeding edge" of scenario design!

-In order to balance out any bias in the games, half the members of each Team will play the French side in the games and half will play the British side. All games count as Club battles.

-The campaign will include at least 3 battles and will last about 60 turns. (<i>You need to plan on doing at least 2 turns per week</i>).

-The players will be paired (roughly) on their club points. Intent is to pair up people of roughly the same skill level; there are some other nuances to the pairing that are covered at the web site. Pairings and side assignments are the sole discretion of the game master.

-This is a team contest but there will be opportunities for individual honors and glory – see web site. Scoring will also be progressive in that game 2 results are worth more them game 1, game 3 more then game 2, etc. Players also compete for Tourney Victory Points with officer captures and kills. Periodic reports of overall and individual status are provided to all participants as well as being published at the web site.

-On a going foward basis, we will use this thread to post highlights of the matches and the Tourney.

The scenarios from the previous Indian Uprising Tourney are available at the scenario download link on the main club page. Round 1 was a 1776 scenario SDC104; Round 2 was a F&IW scenario SDC309. The Prolog scenario from this years contest will be available when all matches are concluded.
