| Post subject: | Club Ribbons and Alternate Scenarios |
Guys - I just was invovled in clearing up some old data of my past life in the American army on the Awards pages. They had my old data there (bless their hearts) and also one for this year which actually was a carry-over from my past career in Morgan's Rifles. The main idea here is that how many of you think that you would play more of the scnearios on the Ribbons list if Alternate scenario versions of the same counted? I think that the turn length should be similar (more or less by a few turns) but I see alot of the fights not getting played and its because some of them are heavily lopsided (Monmouth and Long Island for instance for 1776, Bladensburg for 1812 to name a few). Would you be more inclined to play these other fights if alternate versions were accepted? If this is already a rule I missed any text stating so. If its not I think that it would make the Ribbons more of interest for BOTH players in the game. Its either that or you just play the side that is heavily favored, get your victory and walk away. |
