For the past two or three years(?) the NCC has successfully played on-line games with members spanning the globe. Our EAW engine has an on-line gaming feature, too. I've played a couple of on-line games with Erine, and Rich H, and they were a blast. I would like to see what kind of interest there is to start a 'regulary scheduled' on-line gaming time. Kind of like 'bowling night', you know it happens every week so you schedule for it. I'm thinking that we could set up a 'time' where players would know they could join into a one or two hour on-line session. Multi-player games would be much more enjoyable. Turn time limitations could be set to enable scenarios to be fought to conclussions, or special arrangements could be made for a MP team to agree to play for X number of sessions to get through some of the larger scenarios. Anyone interestd? Any ideas on structure, etc, etc? |
