By Order of His Most Christian Majesty, Louis King of France, Monsieur le Marquis Denis du Villaret, having proven his loyalty and good service to his Most Christian Majesty upon the battlefields of North America, has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in Regiment de la Reine/Brigade la Reine. His Most Christian Majesty has also seen fit to bestow upon him the title of Vicomte and he shall now be addressed as Denis, Vicomte du Villaret. Vive le Roi! |
