A couple of itmes that might be of interest: GMT games has put their <i>Guilford Courthouse </i>http://www.gmtgames.com/argc/main.html game on sale for $20. Brandywine and Saratoga are sold out, but Savannah is to be released next month. http://www.gmtgames.com/ The scale is one step higher than the EAW series. Units are battalion sized. It is a rather quick playing game though. BSO games shipped 2 desk top publishing games <font size="1">(ie you need to paste the counter sheet on cardboard and cut the counters out by hand - far worse than it sounds)</font id="size1"> <i>Carolina Rebels</i> & <i>Turning Point: Freeman’s Farm, Saratoga, 1777 </i>. The scale in Carolina is roughly the same (60 yds per hex) as EAW with emphasis on formation maneuver and combat. Turning Point I don't kow too much about other than it is at a larger scale and uses cards.
