Gentlemen, Few days ago, Wilbur, my fastest pigeon, was sent on duty with a congratulary message "onboard" for Major Renna, CO of the First (Highland) Brigade. Since then I have not got any news from Wilbur. It should have been back to my tent by yesterday. [V] In the meantime an officer from my regiment, commanding a scouting patrol, received a message from an Indian warrior whose sister knows a squaw who enjoys an all-time free entrance to Major Renna's tent (amazing isn't it ?[:p]) saying that this infamous British officer had a roasted pigeon for dinner last evening [}:)] Now Gentlemen, let me ask why a pigeon should fall victim of such bad education ? Animals should be kept aside from war atrocities and British "gentlemanry". Should those misconducts continue I would ask our French CiC for authorization to only use asian-fever-sick pigeons to communicate with these arrogant and starving British officers.[^] May Wilbur rest in peace[:(] |
