Sorry if the title got you all excited that there was a program like this. I've been thinking, this would really be a neat thing. A simple little program which works online and, lets say, is connected to the club/community in question, and where you register your games and all and have simple commands for marking that turn has been sent etc. What I am getting to is a program that "monitors" the PBEM game(s). It would be really simple I think, and anyone with sufficent programing knowledge should perhaps be able to make such a program. I mean it would certainly be of use seing how many PBEM groups and games that support it are out there. One example of its function would be that you open the program, and in which you have already registered (with register I mean just writing down a name for the game so you know which it is), and then mark turn sent or check if a turn has been sent to you. That's what I mean with online (since the opponent much be able to see what you have "marked", and you must see what he has "marked"). Anyone following me? [:)] |
